Melissa Barrett is an independent contractor based in Tigard, Oregon. She specializes in decorative painting on walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, woodwork, porcelain, and glass, for both commercial and residential enhancement. Each job is painted by Melissa Barrett personally as she makes every attempt to fulfill the customer's vision for a project or provide ideas and suggestions to help the customer attain a desirable effect.

Getting Started:
To discuss your painting needs for color, faux finishes and other decorative
painting, please call or email me to set up an appointment for a free consultation.
Together we can browse through color charts, faux finish samples, and my portfolio.
If you have books, pictures, or magazine clippings of something that you would
like painted on your walls we can explore those ideas as well.
| Pricing: Pricing is based on estimated work time and cost of materials. I strive to offer reasonable prices. Factors considered in pricing include: Type and quality of exisiting finish, need for prep. work, ease of accessibility, size of project, and type of finish selected and required materials. Full payment is due the day of project completion and can be made by cash or check. |

Money:
For those wishing to cut costs, options are available. Patching, priming and
often times the base coat can be applied by the homeowner. It is important
to discuss these options with me first for the proper selection of materials
and application. Perhaps left over paint from your previous projects can be
tinted for a new project.
